SeaWindow help
How can we help?
For questions, problems with the app, or privacy requests, email SeaWindow support.

Include “SeaWindow” in the subject, your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, the coast you selected, and a short description of what happened.
Tides for my coast are unavailable or marked as an estimate
SeaWindow uses NOAA stations in the United States and open tide-station data around the world. Where no station is near, it estimates the tide from the EOT20 global tide model and says so on the Today screen; estimates can be less accurate in bays, harbours and rivers. Places far up an estuary or inland have no tides. Choose a place on the open coast from Places to get tides there.
Weather, waves or sea temperature show a dash
Weather comes from Apple Weather. Waves and swell come from PacIOOS WaveWatch III, which covers about the next six days, and sea temperature from the latest NOAA satellite analysis. If a service is temporarily unavailable, SeaWindow keeps showing tides and fills in the other values when it can reach the service again. Pull down to refresh after a few minutes.
Location
Location is optional. “Use my area” asks for permission once to suggest a nearby coast. You can always choose a place manually, and you can change permission in iOS Settings.
Alerts
Forecast alerts are local notifications. Check that notifications are allowed for SeaWindow in iOS Settings and that Focus is not silencing them.
SeaWindow Pro and restoring a purchase
Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions unlock the same Pro features. They renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel through App Store subscriptions.
Use Restore purchases in the app while signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase. Apple handles payments and refunds; visit Apple’s purchase support for a refund request.
SeaWindow is a planning aid, not a navigation or safety tool. Always check official marine forecasts, warnings and local conditions before going on or near the water.
