Outgo — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Outgo ("the app") is made by Mohamed Elatabany. This policy explains what the app does with your information. Your tracked payment list is stored on your device. No account is required. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related information as described below.

What you enter

The subscriptions, free trials and installment plans you add — names, amounts, dates, payment notes — and your preferences (currency, reminder time) are stored in the app's own container on your device and are included in your device backups. Outgo never uploads them anywhere. Deleting an item, using Settings › Erase everything, or deleting the app removes them.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device and delivered by iOS. They are never sent through a push service or any server. You can turn them off for Outgo in iOS Settings at any time.

Purchases

Outgo Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes the payment under Apple's privacy policy. The app uses RevenueCat to load purchase options, verify purchases, enable Pro and restore purchases on your other devices. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier, purchase history and technical information needed to provide these services. Purchase information also supports RevenueCat's purchase and subscription analytics. It is not linked to a name, email address or an Outgo account, and is not used for advertising tracking. Outgo does not send RevenueCat the names, amounts, dates or notes of the payments you track. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy-policy.

Other apps

Settings has a "More apps" section listing the developer's other apps. When you open Settings, the app asks Apple's public App Store lookup service for those apps' current names, taglines and icons. The request contains the developer's Apple ID and your App Store region; it contains no details of your tracked payments. Apple may receive connection information, such as your IP address, as part of the request. The answer is a public App Store listing. The result is cached for a week so the section works offline. Tapping an app opens the App Store.

What the app does not do

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. It does not ask users to create a personal profile or provide contact information. Purchase-related processing is described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at the same address with a new date, and the same text ships inside the app under Settings › Privacy Policy.
