Privacy policy

This policy explains how DoseJot: GLP-1 Shot Tracker, provided by Mohamed Elatabany, handles information when you use the app, this website, or contact support.

1. Your notebook

The app stores the medication, dose as entered, injection dates and sites, weight, symptoms, observations, notes, and reminder preferences that you choose to enter. It uses these records to show your history, provide the features you request, and create exports or reports.

DoseJot has no application backend for your notebook and does not integrate with HealthKit or CloudKit. It requests exclusion of its health files from system backups; the operating system controls device backup behavior. Do not rely on automatic device backups for recovery.

2. Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat validates purchases and manages Premium access using an anonymous app customer identifier, purchase history, transaction and entitlement information, and technical app/device information needed for its service. We do not attach your health records, name or email to that RevenueCat customer identifier.

Purchase information is used to enable and restore paid features, help prevent fraud, and provide commerce reporting through the RevenueCat dashboard. DoseJot does not receive your payment-card details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

3. Reminders, exports and sharing

Reminders use local notifications and the schedule you choose. You control notification permission in iOS Settings.

Exporting or sharing records is your choice. CSV, JSON and PDF exports may contain sensitive health information and are not password encrypted by DoseJot. The app passes files to the destination you select. That destination’s policies apply, and previously exported or shared copies cannot be removed by deleting records in DoseJot.

4. Advertising and tracking

DoseJot does not include advertising or a behavioral analytics SDK, sell health records, or use notebook information for advertising. RevenueCat’s commerce reporting is separate from your local notebook. The app does not request an advertising identifier or link your activity across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.

5. Support and this website

If you email support, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are processed to respond to your request. Please do not send health records or notebook backups. Support email is handled through Gmail.

This website uses GitHub Pages. It contains no analytics scripts, advertising trackers or contact forms. GitHub may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site, under GitHub’s privacy statement. Following an external link opens a service governed by its own privacy practices.

6. Retention and your choices

You can edit, export and delete notebook records without buying Premium. The app’s delete-all control removes its notebook records and local recovery copies. Removing the app removes its local app data; external exports and any copies held elsewhere must be managed separately.

Purchase records and support correspondence may be retained as needed to provide purchase restoration, respond to requests, prevent fraud, and meet applicable legal obligations. Removing notebook records does not cancel an Apple purchase or erase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or make a privacy complaint. Contact us to request help with information we can access. We cannot retrieve notebook records stored only on your device.

7. Security and service providers

DoseJot uses device storage protections for its notebook. No storage or transfer method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and exported files. Apple, RevenueCat, GitHub and the email provider may process service information in countries other than yours, under their respective policies.

8. Intended audience and changes

DoseJot is a personal recordkeeping tool for adults; it is not directed to children. It does not provide medical advice. We may update this policy as the app or its services change, and will update the date shown above.
